The Cavaliers and coach John Beilein mutually agreed to part ways during the break, with Beilein leaving four years on a pact signed over the summer.

The Indiana Pacers were in a deep slump to start the month but went into the break feeling good about themselves after knocking off the NBA-best Milwaukee Bucks and will try to carry that momentum into the final 27 games of the regular season. The Pacers will try to make it back-to-back wins when they visit the New York Knicks for the opener of a two-game trip.

The Toronto Raptors watched their franchise-record winning streak end in a lethargic performance before the All-Star break. The Raptors will try to find the energy after a week off when they begin the stretch run by hosting the Phoenix Suns on Friday.

The Boston Celtics streaked into the All-Star break with wins in 11 of their final 13 games and hope to carry the momentum out of the intermission when they begin a four-game road trip at the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday. A dramatic double-overtime win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Feb. 12 sent the Celtics into the break with loads of momentum and owners of the fourth-best record in the NBA.
Denver at Oklahoma City 8:00 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets attempt to beat Oklahoma City for the eighth straight time when they visit the Thunder on Friday night. The Nuggets have won nine of the past 10 meetings following a stretch in which Oklahoma City racked up nine consecutive triumphs.

The San Antonio Spurs are in a precarious position as they resume play after the All-Star break by visiting the Utah Jazz on Friday. San Antonio resides in 10th place in the Western Conference - five games behind the eighth-place Memphis Grizzlies as of Thursday - as it looks to make the playoffs for the 23rd consecutive season.

The Los Angeles Lakers look to record their sixth victory in the past seven games when they resume play after the All-Star break with a home game against the Memphis Grizzlies. The Lakers sputtered through a 3-4 stretch to conclude January but have recovered their stride with their solid play this month.
New Orleans at Portland 10:30 PM ET
The New Orleans Pelicans attempt to complete a four-game season sweep of Portland when they visit the Trail Blazers on Friday. The Pelicans won the first three meetings by an average of 13.3 points, including a 138-117 home romp on Feb. 11, and Portland will be missing star guard Damian Lillard this time.
